                                     Image output

The JumboScan Model Camera achieves a maximum of 20,000 lines (scanning steps).  The number of scan lines can be preset at 20,000, 10,000, 6,600, 5,000 and 2,000 to accommodate a range of scanning requirements.

The JumboScan can scan reflective materials at continuously variable resolutions without interpolation by changing the distance from the camera head and the document (focal length).

Up to 8,000 DPI can be achieved when small objects such as buttons and postage stamps are scanned in bitonal, grayscale and color.  This resolution can be doubled in Bitonal-only scans to 16,000 DPI.
    Dynamic Analysis

The JumboScan RGB and GIS models are capable of 36-bit color RGB and 12-bit grayscale; outputting 8 bit or 16 bit image file types.

    Output Formats

The JumboScan outputs 8-bit or 16-bit files under operator control in the following formats without requiring post-processing time and software to reformat the primary output:

    • TIFF
    • JPEG
    • PNG
    • PDF
    • GIF
